Event Description
Today lesson is about identified the problem faced by customer and the way to solve the issues. In the first part we watched a video about Richard and Dick innovate the aircraft seat so that customers can have a comfortable environment while flying to their destination. The most easily way to get the feedback is direct ask the customer's experience and what they hope the product can be improved. Next is the difficult part where Richard and Dick need to draft a product which can solve the customer issues within the company budget or constraints such as the size of the seat.
In the second part we have an opportunity to design a hand bag for a ladies around aged 40 in a dinner party. Based on the information about the ladies, we start to discuss and draft out the design for the handbag which suitable for her in dinner party.
How did it Make me feel?
It is not easy to innovate a product which can fulfill the customer need and the company requirement, but, on the whole process, Richard and Dick never give up even their face difficulties and at last, they successful to create a better aircraft seat, I feel pound and i hope i can be like this in the future. "Never Give Up!"

I feel that customization in nowadays is getting important, so we plan to design a handbag which can be easy customized by customer, and, since the ladies like gardening activities, we think she will prefer those products which have some flower and plant design. Today discussion progress move smoothly and everyone contribute equally, hence, today i feel great and enjoy..
What did I learn?
Identify customer issues are important, I should design a product that gives customer solutions instead of just decide a product for selling purpose. Understand target market profile also important in order to create the best products to delight the customers.
What would I do differently now?
before we start we develop or draft a new concept, I need to do research to analysis problems that faced by customers as well as customer preference. Never give up to continue improve the existing product over the time.
