Preface
“Today class was the most interesting class in these two years! “
I never think that this subject can be taught in this ways. First, Ms. Lye let us write down the biggest fear and ambition or hope at the beginning in the class, this give a chance for me to think deeply about what is my biggest fear now even in the future. The answer I submit is I fear to lost myself or lost my principle when I involve myself in the working environment. On the other hand, to write down answer about my ambition is quite easy and take less time compare to the biggest fear. Haha! My dream is to travel around the world, and now…I am in UK! =)
Next session is about sharing secret with a classmate that he/she doesn’t really know about me. Actually I wish to talk with new classmate but I shy to step forward, but luckily Jocelyn, a very nice and friendly girl she come to me and want to be my partner for this session. Happy to talk with this pretty girl, some more, we exchange some secret between each others. Purpose for this session is about our listening skill and also communication skill as well while we meeting a stranger. I think this is important when we meet our new customer and how we able to build a good relationship with them. Anyways, this is another happy moment when whole class sharing each other big or small secret! Enjoy~~! Errr….Johari Window! i thinking to explore this “window” in sometime.
After that is discussion in a group about the product going to delete and the reason we choose to do this.
Ø Pocket calculator – this will be the common answer since this can be replaced by Handphone, Ipad or smartphone.
Ø Home VCR – getting less people using VCR nowdays especially for those download softcopy from the web.
Ø Birth Control Pill – this is not healthy medicine and should be replaced by the better effective and healthy way.
Ø Velcro fastener – today, majority products are using Zip.
Ø Liquid Crystal Display – LED which more save energy and more durable, and 3D TV which are more clear and lifelike!
Ø Fax Machine and photocopier – Email is the best way to replace because email can send to many receiver in a same time, this also relate to environment friendly which to reduce the usage of paper.
Last session for today seminar is a psychology test which knows as ‘Belbin Team Roles’. Although I think that the way of apportion point according to our feeling or sense will influence the accuracy of the answer, I feel satisfy with the answer I get and the answer is quite similar with another psychology test I done before. At last, I am a Resource Investigator. =P
