Event Description
Today lesson is about concept pitching. A preparation for our next week concept pitching presentation. We watched a video about 2 teams sell their idea in a elevator within 25 second. During class discussion for this video, we need to identify what is the good and bad point for each group as well as what we learn.
Next session is promote the product (Healthy Food Juice) by find out how this solve the consumer problem, identify the competitors, consumer choice factors, the benefit of this product to the consumers and the target market.
How did it Make me feel?
I feel stress when I watching the video, it is difficult when we need to persuade a people to accept our idea. Anythings we do such as eye contact, body language, passionate or interaction with audience will give different impression to the audience as well as influence their decision. Besides, i feel that a good planning of speech to transfer all important message to the audience in limited time is crucial.
What did I learn?
Confidence, strong opening, clearly and straight to the point, maintain eye contact, try to interact with audience, attitude during pitching (greeting, passionate, friendly), keep customer attention as well as give feedback from them. Dont forget to give a contact method such as namecard to the audience.
What would I do differently now?
Practice make prefect, i need to practice more and be confidence during presentation.
